Earlier today we learned that Adam Adamowicz, one of the main concept artists behind Fallout 3, Skyrim and other Bethesda titles, passed away today. It was silently announced, but I’d like to shine some light on Adam because he was an anomaly in the game industry, a veritable one-man conceptual machine, who unlike his contemporary counterparts, did a majority of his work in non digital mediums. Fallout 3 was pretty much visually designed from the ground up by one humble man who got little to no recognition, nor sought it.

This man’s art is amazing. The first time I played Fallout 3, I fell in love with it’s visual design immediately

Goodnight sweet prince :C

Aw man, I had no idea. This art is perfect; the fact there’ll now never be a 2D Fallout tie-in game featuring his actual, unfettered work is a real shame.

I really like Bioware, you know. I wish the stories and settings were a little less cliché but the characters are always so great and well-written it more than makes up for it.

I think there’s still time to Recommend us for the comics directory ifyouwouldbesokind.

GuysguysguysguysGUYS! The woman who played Jade in the original language track for Beyond Good & Evil LOOKS like Jade AND she’s French AND she smokes a cigerette in a cool, french fashion AND she’s in black and white!

Goddamnit, someone needs to make a hack to play that game in French with English subtitles. Not that the american voices aren’t well done to a certain extent…

Except that walrus in obviously Chinese-inspired attire with the Brooklyn accent. What’s that about?
